Powers Power Name:Death Warning/Dread Song
Power Type: Mental
Description: Trapper can announce the impending doom/danger of a subject, and therefore help the subject possibly change the outcome of the situation.
the way in that he 'announces' these things is through
Dread Song - through song, Trapper can mentally send to the subject, and view himself, a vision of the danger they will encounter, while to everyone else around it would just seem like any normal song (have no effect on them). These songs are usually made up on the spot and sometimes don't even contain words, only the sounds of the instrument being played.
(Dread Song is sort of a sub-part of the Death Warning. Death Warning is his actual ability and Dread Song is his ways of communicating it to the subject. He does not necessarily need an instrument for it to work. It will work with just his voice, just an instrument, or sometimes even both)
Power weaknesses: while Trapper is able to announce what will happen, when and where is not sent to the subject. This means that it could happen several years from when it's shown, or just moments afterward. Because of the inability to tell these things, people are not always able to change the outcome. While not every word he sings, or note he plays triggers this, he does not have control over when this will occur. This includes during performances with his band, where they will be playing a song, and the lyrics change, or the tune does. It has also caused him to burst into song at inopportune moments, or places like on the street or in stores.
PersonaPersonality: Going out and having fun are two items on Trapper's agenda every night. He isn't the guy to just sit around at home, and if he is at home, there's usually people over, drinking, smoking, and just having an all around good time. He tends to take to the drink a little more than some of his friends, though no one would say just yet that he's at alcoholic status, give him a few years or even a few months and that might change. Alcohol tends to make him extremely rowdy, and aggressive if someone was to anger him.
Trapper is a creative individual. This can mostly be found in his musical abilities. He has the natural ability to play by ear, but studied music, so that he can read and write music, along with just being able to play it. He's usually at his calmest when he's playing, and it's often seems like he's drifted into another world. There's always a song playing in his head, and he can be seen tapping out beats, or the fingers on his left hand moving as if they're playing chords.
Like many people, Trapper suffers from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Due to this he constantly feels like his body and hair are dirty, prompting him to take several showers a day. There have even been times that he will get out of the shower and get dressed, then move right back to the shower again. If he isn't home and this feeling comes over him, he will find the nearest sink and start scrubbing the parts of his body that he can, in order to 'tie' himself over before being able to get to a shower.

This Is Your LifeKnown Associates: parents Donald and Rosa live in upstate New York and his sister is attending college in Illinois
Experience: Trapper graduated from highschool and moved to New Jersey to attend university. graduated with a bachelor's in music and is currently spending his time playing in a band
Full History: Trapper was born 26 years ago into the Crowley family in Toronto. He was the first born of Rosa and Donald and the proud parents started to dote upon the boy. He was their little pride and joy. He received anything and everything he could ever dream of as a child. His room was filled with toys and he always had friends over to play with. The little boy was as happy as could be.
Five years old Trapper was taken into the living room by his father, so that his mother could tell him something. It was then he found out that his mother was going to have a baby and he would have a little brother or sister soon. Having been used to being the only one, Trapper wasn’t too fond of this and he let his parents know. Refusing to eat or play with his toys. None of this, of course, stopped the arrival of a baby girl, Carrie. Everyone had to come and see the new baby girl and as she started to gain more and more attention, it seemed Thomas was being forgotten.
In middle school Trapper started to play sports. Playing hockey, lacrosse, and soccer for his school, he helped lead them to the championships each season. His seventh grade year his uncle bought him an old guitar from a pawn shop and every spare second Trapper had he played the thing. Teaching himself chords and eventually songs. Even starting to write some of his own. Freshman year came around and he was excited for high school. Trying out for all the teams, and even making varsity for hockey, something never done by a freshman before.
His first year ended and while he was ready to go back to his friends and another year of sports, his father’s job moved them. Not to another city or province, but to an entirely new country. Their sister to the south. The United States of America. His job had them packing up and moving to New York. His parents enrolled him at Westley Boarding School. Continuing to play sports, it wasn’t long before he was part of the ‘in’ crowd, being seen at just about every party, or at least being invited to them. As he got older he kept getting more and more pressure from his parents, especially his dad to be perfect and the best at every thing. Sure he was good at sports, but school work on the other hand is something entirely different. Telling his father he wanted to be a musician, his father only laughed, telling him to have real dreams and aspirations.
Graduating from high school he moved to New Jersey to attend college on a soccer scholarship, where he was going to start studying music. Everything was going well, and he soon moved into an apartment with his friend Darren. Darren was a cool guy and he always came to Trapper's games, at least the ones he could make it to. When Darren started changing one night into a ferret, it freaked him out a little and he wasn't sure what was going on so he ran trying to find someone to help, but couldn't. The next time it happened he was there to help Darren, he thought that maybe they could find some way to work and live around this odd mutation, but one day Trapper found a note saying that Darren had left.
His schooling continued and when he was 22, he formed a band called Code Adam with three of his friends. These guys were close, but he still always wondered about Darren. What had happened to him? Was he doing alright? Ever since he'd left, Trapper had been worried about him. He was always expecting to see him walking down the street or his phone to ring and it to be him on the other side. He needed to find his friend, even if he just saw him and saw that he was alright, that would be enough
One night during a gig, the band had finished up a song and were taking a moment to take a drink of beer that they'd brought up to stage with them, when Trapper stood behind his keyboard and his fingers moved beginning to play. As he played he started seeing a vision of a woman, in her early thirties, she was in a car driving when an 18 wheeler came barreling down the road and hitting her dead on. This only lasted a for about 15 seconds, when he stopped playing. He didn't know what had just happened, but as he looked around he spotted the woman he had seen, and the shook-up look on her face, made him believe that she had seen what he had.
Now at 26 he spends his days searching for his old friend and his nights playing and getting into trouble with the boys in his band.

Writing Sample: The hand that held the newly lit cigarette moved from his mouth as he exhaled out the smoke. Leaning back against the wall outside of the store, he brought his leg up, bending it at the knee and letting his foot rest flat against the wall. This store, like all stores, was smoke free and a craving had kicked in while inside looking for some new clothes to wear at his gigs. As he stood there he started entertaining himself by people watching, he found that this sometimes helped with his writing. Watching scenarios and the way people acted or handled them, often made for good lyrics, he'd once written a song about an argument he'd seen between a couple coming out of the bank.
A few minutes had passed, when the cigarette was down to the butt and after one more drag, he flicked it to the ground, before stuffing his hand in his pocket and opening the door to the store once again. Making his way to the shirts, he began to browse. Finding a few shirts he picked them up and went to the dressing room to try them on. Only two of them looked decent on him, and he moved to check out and by them at the front of the store.
With the bag of new shirts in his hand, he exited the store and started down to another shop, the place he tended to go to in order to buy things like jackets and hats. Pulling the door open, he was greeted by the woman behind the counter, one who knew Trapper and his friends by name, as they were constantly coming in and buying items from her. Giving her a smile and hello back he made his way to the jackets. At first he just gave them a look over to see if anything interested him, and when he found one that did, his hand reached to grab it, when another hand appeared and the shirt was removed right before his eyes. Turning his head he looked to see who had just picked up the jacket he'd been going for.
